Hannah is currently studying for her Legal Practice Course to become a solicitor. She is doing this part-time whilst a full-time paralegal who plays an integral role within the Client Management Team and Family Department. Hannah will begin her training contract with ACLF in 2020 where she will remain active as an already experienced provider of family law services, in particular, fertility law and surrogacy.

Hannah was previously engaged as a legal assistant at Hope Springs Fertility Law in Toronto, Canada, dealing with international surrogacy arrangements. Her role there was to guide UK intended parents through the international process. At A City Law Firm, Hannah is able to draw upon her unique experience to assist intended parents throughout the UK legal process and before, during and after their international arrangements. She is very well known and respected within the fertility community and brings her knowledge, commitment and enthusiasm to ACLF clients looking to explore alternative family structures.

She works closely within our family team on all family & child matters, reporting to the Head of Department, who she assists. She is an approachable point of contact and someone who takes a proactive and supportive approach to family clients. She attends court, helps prepare case papers, draft orders and applications and assists in researching and understand case law and legal advancements. Having knowledge and experience with international surrogacy she also works very closely with the overseas lawyers, clinics and agencies which we have connected with over many years, to ensure our intended parents have a harmonious and smooth journey.

Hannah attended the University of East Anglia, graduating with an upper second-class honour’s degree in Law with European Legal Systems. She is a raising star in fertility law and family law and is a great team player and asset to the team.

She recently assisted prepare for the ACLF annual moot between its trainee’s playing an active role as the claimant. It will be her turn to do this and shine in 2020.
