Commercial & Litigation Solicitor
Sian works across our busy commercial & litigation teams, leading a variety of cases & working directly with the Commercial Law Director.
She has in excess of 10 years’ experience as a specialist commercial solicitor as well as handling complex litigation disputes.
In terms of Sian's Technology and Data Protection experience this has included drafting Master Services Agreements, Professional Service Agreement, NDA's, Framework Agreements, SAAS Agreements, End-User Licences, Reseller Agreements, Licences to Assign IP, Privacy Policies for Websites and APPs, Cookies policies, Retention, Security and Data Protection policies to include Bring your own device policies, Privacy notices for recruitment candidates, employees, contractors/workers and drafting/amending employment contracts, consultancy contracts and directors service agreements to be GDPR compliant.
Sian has also had extensive experience at the likes of Wellers Law Group LLP and has worked at Allen & Overy but likes the client close relationship a specialist practice offers & the challenges emerging technology poses for ACLF clients.
Sian has conducted several seminars on Data Protection and the implementation of the GDPR, including seminars in the Shard and Canary Wharf tower with hundreds of people in attendance. She has also acted for a range of client's including SMEs, Charities, Parish Councils, Recruitment agencies, Security companies, Estate Agents, Architects, Surveyors, Landlords/west end land developers, Digital Marketing companies, Advertising companies, Accountants and Finance companies and start up IT Companies.
Sian continues to advise on the e-privacy regulations and direct marketing processors for all businesses and offers comprehensive GDPR packages to businesses.
Having worked in-house for Microsoft Partner businesses she specialised in technology law in the Microsoft space and bespoke commercial documents & offering agile specialist technology advice. As such she brings a very niche speciality to the team.
Sian first qualified as a solicitor in England and thereafter qualified as an Australian lawyer in New South Wales and has had experience working in Sydney where she spent time to widen her understanding of international law & practice.
