Jacqueline head up a specialist team of lawyers best placed to advise on new innovation. Whilst she oversees all work undertaken by her team, she also runs the more complex investment rounds and enjoys working with those looking to disrupt their marketplace or using new and innovative technologies. She has specialist experience in crypto-currency and block chain, where she runs a steering panel of experts in this field as well as giving expert commentary and talks. She has a passion and understanding of machine learning and AI and works closely with our clients in developing their IP, business and securing investment. She has an array of clients across a multitude of sectors and disciplines, each at varying stages of funding, expansion and exits.
Jacqueline completed her Law Degree and Master’s Degree at Kings College, London. She had a varied career before joining A City Law Firm in 2012, including having worked in The Hague for the Defence Team of the former President of Liberia, Charles Taylor. She embraces innovation and her knowledge and pioneering work on blockchain, cryptocurrency, digital assets, IOT and drones is incredible and inspiring. She is often consulted on these niche areas by other lawyers and in-house counsel.

Jacqueline has represented clients in a number of mergers and acquisitions including those involving complex regulatory aspects.
Jacqueline frequently advises clients using or incorporating innovative technologies and in experienced in data protection and the GDPR. She is able to offer an insightful and innovative approach enabling clients to evaluate their risks with new products and technology.
Jacqueline has advised clients on an array of matters involving virtual reality, blockchain and artificial intelligence and is excited by the challenges presented by the shifting legal landscape in these fields.
Jacqueline has acted for a number of clients in their investment rounds. She has experience in dealing with Angel Investors and Venture Capital from seed funding through to Series A and beyond.

Jacqueline has experience within the media and advertising fields having drafted an array of legal documents including broadcasting agreements, production contracts, television and film financing agreements and advertising agreements.
Jacqueline has extensive experience in preparing a wide range of corporate and commercial documents including complex shareholders agreement; option agreements (including employment related options); share purchase agreements; asset purchase agreements; joint venture agreements; assignment of intellectual property rights; bespoke articles of association; international joint venture agreements; app and website developers agreements; franchise agreements; bespoke terms and conditions; employment and consultancy agreements.
