Assistant Solicitor

Assistant Solicitor

William is a Assistant Solicitor and rising star in our litigation team.

William assists in managing initial enquiries and new clients. His role is pivotal in that he handles the initial engagement, quotes, advice and meetings. William also manages his own portfolio of clients and as such, understands the importance of multi-tasking, time management and a varied caseload. He is currently leading a million-pound litigious case with his supervisor looking at anti-money laundering , the gambling and gaming industry and fraud.

William recently competed in the annual ‘ACLF Moot’ in which he acted on behalf of the Respondent in an Employment Tribunal claim. Running the case from the initial interview through to trial, the experience developed William’s interviewing, drafting and advocacy skills, all of which will be very important when he qualifies as a solicitor in January 2021. His action was upheld and judgement given for the respondent.

William is approachable and engaging and frequently attends networking events to expand his professional network. Outside of work, William is a keen sportsman and enjoys football and skiing in the winter months.

William attended the University of Sussex graduating with an upper second-class honour’s degree in Law (LLB Hons) with Business & Management. Following this, he completed the LPC at BPP Law School Holborn, electing to study Advanced Commercial Litigation, Commercial Law & Intellectual Property and Family Law.
