It is a requirement in some jurisdictions that the intended parents can prove there is a medical reason why they need to have a surrogacy arrangement. This is the case in Georgia, for example, well you need to have medical records to support your need for a surrogacy arrangement. However, in countries like Canada or the USA there is no requirement for such. (Again, check your jurisdiction requirements)
