Court hearing

This may sound scary but actually it is only a formality. The court will hear the Cafcass report recommending surrogacy. Ensure that the surrogate has given consent and released all parental responsibilities and will check the only reasonable expenses have been incurred. This formality should then result in the sealed parental order. Sometimes however, a second hearing may be required if there is some gap with regards to raise full expenses or any additional complexity. This is usually counted with detailed records and witness statements but if a second hearing is required it should not be of concern but it’s more just to give the court time to review matters carefully.
